Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might be wondering

And if your question isn't here, the free consult is the perfect place to ask it.

Where are you located?

My practice is entirely virtual. I’m based in Florida and serve women throughout the entire state, including Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and beyond, through secure telehealth sessions.

What are your fees?
Individual session (50 min)
$175
Extended session (90 min)
$265
1-day EMDR intensive (3 hrs)
$900
2-3 day intensive packages
from $1,200

Premium rates may apply for evening and weekend availability.

Do you take insurance?

I don’t bill insurance directly. Insurance companies determine how therapy is structured: how long sessions run, how many are approved, and what treatment looks like. I’ve chosen to keep that in your hands instead. I provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement on weekly sessions. EMDR intensives are self-pay only.

What can I expect from the consultation call?

The consultation call is a free 15-20 minute conversation. It’s not an intake session and it’s not a commitment, just a relaxed chance to talk about what’s bringing you here and see whether we’re a good fit.

What can I expect from an intake appointment?

Weekly therapy intakes are 60 minutes; EMDR intensive intakes are 90 minutes. We focus on understanding your struggles, your goals, and your personal history so your care is precisely targeted.

What is EMDR therapy and how does it work?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It’s a clinically researched therapy that helps the brain reprocess painful memories using bilateral stimulation, so those memories lose their grip on daily life.

What’s the difference between weekly EMDR and a virtual EMDR intensive?

Weekly sessions provide steady, ongoing support. Intensives offer an extended, deeper format, typically three or more hours, designed for faster progress when you’re ready to go deep.

Can EMDR therapy help with childhood trauma?

Yes. EMDR is one of the most researched and effective approaches for healing childhood trauma, including experiences you may not have clear words for.

Do you offer Christian counseling?

Yes. For women who want it, I integrate Christian counseling with evidence-based treatment like EMDR. For those who don’t, your beliefs are always respected.

What types of issues do you specialize in?

Anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, trauma and PTSD, and the emotional patterns that don’t respond to talk therapy alone, especially in high-achieving women.

Do you only work with women?

Yes. My practice is designed specifically for women.

Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Research consistently shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for the conditions I treat, with the added comfort and convenience of healing from your own space.
